Fixing Communication Errors on your Machine

Step-by-step Guide on fixing communication errors on your Advanced Display Module

If the need to use the failsafe application on the ADM2 arises, follow the following steps: 

  1. Turn off power to the system using the disconnect switch. 
  2. Open the electrical enclosure. 
  3. Press and hold the small, white push button on the back of the ADM (display) while  re-applying power to the system (using the disconnect switch). 
  4. Release the small, white push button once the red LED on the ADM is lit solid  (should occur within a couple seconds after power on). 
  5. If the previous steps were successful, the red LED should start flashing as the fail safe application loads onto the ADM. If this did not occur, repeat steps 1-4. 
  6. Load desired version of the system software using a USB drive. Insert into ADM 
  7. Once the fail-safe app has completed the splash screen, the file system of the USB  drive should be shown. Select the desired software and follow the on screen  prompts to complete the software update.
