Civilox-Si25

Civilox-Si25 is a one-component sodium silicate densifier that is used to penetrate deep into the concrete to seal and harden it. The sodium silicate or water glass chemically reacts with the concrete to create a dustproof, hardened concrete surface.

Applications of Civilox-Si25

• 1 – The substrate temperature during application should be between 10°C and 38°C. Temperatures below 10°C will take significantly longer to gel and cure.
• 2 – Apply Civilox-Si25 to the concrete surface using a low-pressure sprayer or pour it directly onto the concrete and spread it evenly with a broom or squeegee.
• 3 – With soft bristle brooms or brushes, work the Civilox-Si25, keeping the concrete wet for 30 minutes.
• 4 – Once the entire floor is complete, remove any excess Civilox-Si25.
• 5 – Excess Civilox-Si25 allowed to dry on the concrete surface will form a white residue that can only be removed by grinding and sanding.
