This is a common question that I get from the customers – Aluminium surfaces will need to be lightly blasted, possibly with a Graco Vapor blaster and primed with an etch primer within 30 mins from blasting. The Aluminum surface oxides very quickly and it’s almost invisible to notice. So the quick and light edge prime will ensure that the surface is safe while it’s keeping the achieved profile. (you will only need a very thin layer of edge primer almost to the point where you can still see the aluminium. The point is to keep the profile and not fill the valleys created by blasting on the surface of the aluminium.) Then you can spray Polyurea at the required thickness and you should get amazing adhesion. 5 to 8 Mpa
