Rediprime Primer
RAPID-SET SOLVENT BASED POLYURETHANE PRIMER
A single-component, low build, 50% solids polyurethane designed for steel surfaces in atmospheric exposure. Rediprime® has outstanding water and anti-corrosion resistance. Rediprime® will cure at low temperatures.
Applications for Rediprime®
- Great adhesion to a wide range of substrates; Polystyrene foam, timber, plastic and various metallic and colourbond surfaces
- Priming of galvanising steel
- Priming of steel where the blast profile is inadequate for the direct application of LiquiMix polyurea and hybrid membranes
APPLICATION OF REDIPRIME AS LAMINATING ADHESIVE
Rediprime can be used as an industrial adhesive with a wide range of substrates - Polystyrene foam, timber, plastic and various metallic and Colorbond surfaces. The bonding time would be between 1 - 1.5 hours @ 25 Deg C. The cure time can be accelerated to 12 minutes at 50 Deg C. The Rediprime has a working time of 30 minutes (Up to 45 minutes in standard conditions). The pressure required to force intimate contact is not high for gluing. The Rediprime comes in 20L drums.
